Letter to the Editor

On November 3rd, Hoboken is holding the special election of mayor. This past Wednesday seven highly qualified candidates engaged in a debate in Burchard, and it is clear to me who am voting for. In my opinion, Dawn Zimmer is the best choice for Stevens.
Every candidate agreed that integrating Stevens more into the community can only benefit ourselves and the city of Hoboken. However, only Dawn Zimmer has acted upon this idea. She has personally served as advisors for Senior D groups and stated she would like to see more projects situated in Hoboken. No one else can boast such a direct link to Stevens.
I do not believe that the other candidates will act in our best interests. To them, Stevens is not a priority. Some even campaigned against the school when we were trying to build the Babbio garage. I want to see the Institute, and the city of Hoboken, succeed. This is why I am voting for Zimmer.
Whether you agree with me or not, I hope to see everyone vote on November 3rd. Make sure our voices are heard.
