The Stevens Institute of Technology's Dramatic Society (SDS) has begun preparations for its fall theater production. William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing will be performed at DeBaun Auditorium November 15 through 17 at 8pm. Much Ado… is one of Shakespeare's comedies filled with treacherous plots, mistaken identities and bickering lovers. This is the first time in several seasons that the SDS will perform a play by Shakespeare. Last year's fall performance of Lend Me a Tenor, featured a cast of under ten. Much Ado About Nothing, however, will feature more than 20 Stevens actors. This is in addition to the many students who produce and run the technical aspects of the show. Senior Natalie Arndt is President of SDS and the producer of the show. The show will be directed by Sarah Hankins.
Tickets are $1 in advance and $3 at the door for current Stevens students. Alumni are admitted free of charge. General admission is $5 in advance and $7 at the door.
