Castle Point Apartments

The main benefit of living in CPA is getting off the meal plan. CPA residents are only required to purchase 300 duckbills a semester. CPA also has cinderblock walls. CPA rooms come with a sink, a stove, and a small bathroom. The main negative of CPA is the potential that it may be tripled. Residence Life has warned that residents may get a third roommate if there is not enough space on campus. This warning was also given last year, but to my knowledge no rooms were tripled. CPA is a good deal if you do not want a meal plan, but another dorm would be better if you plan to eat at Pierce.
Jonas Hall

Welcome to Technology Hall, formally known as Jonas Hall, home to approximately 350 of Stevens' brightest and finest, well who knows about brightest and finest, but 350 students nonetheless. This six-story structure offers a unique view to DeBaun Athletic Complex that plays host to a multiple of sporting events during the course of the year. Although it is difficult to compare the view to that found on rooftops outside Wrigley Field in Chicago, who does not love being waken up to the sound on metal bats clanking pitch after pitch during a double header Baseball Sunday. Located between the Howe Center and Washington Street, the lot seems like a prime location for many students to live during their busy semesters on campus.
For a building that from the outside that looks like any other run-of-the-mill building, the state of the elevator inside forces everyone to take the stairs. One cannot really complain too much since the fact is that each room is spacious enough to accompany a private bathroom which provides much convenience. Accompanying the building on the main floor (3rd floor) is a lounge room, which features a couple of vending machines, couches, and a community television set. If the food there is not of your liking, a midnight run to Bagels on the Hudson is readily available just a few blocks away.
