Having trouble with a humanities paper? Need help with a class presentation? Help is here! The Writing Center has expanded its services with highly qualified master tutors to help undergraduate and graduate students. These trained professionals are available to help students with their communications needs, both written and oral.
David Silverstein of Pennsylvania State University and Robin Whitney of John Jay University have come to Stevens. They both hold office hours Monday-Friday, 3-5 p.m. every week in the Humanities Resource Lab, Morton 210. Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to drop in or make an appointment.
There is also communications help for those students learning English. ESL tutor Sophie Hales is available by appointment on Wednesday afternoons. Appointments can be made with Margaret Maghan (mmaghan@stevens.edu, ext. 8235).
