In an e-mail sent out Wednesday Provost Korfiatis announced the appointment of Professor Michael S. Bruno as Dean of the School of Engineering effective February 15th. Michael Bruno joined Stevens in 1989 and has since served as a Professor of Ocean Engineering and Director of the Davidson Laboratory.
In his tenure, Bruno has overseen the development of the undergraduate Naval Engineering program as well as the recent renovations to Davidson Labs.
Bruno was unavailable for comment, as he is out of the country on business.
