Indoor Track and Field Shatter Four School Records at East Stroudsburg Invitational

The Stevens Institute of Technology men's and women's indoor track and field teams set four new school records as it competed at the East Stroudburg Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Sara Amitrani set an individual school record in the 3k race, while junior Michael Hoffman set an individual school record in the 800 meters.
Amitrani, freshmen Melissa Franzese, Erica Bakelmun and Veronica Smith set a new school record in the women's distance medley relay event. The women's 4x400 relay team also set a new school record.
Senior Phil Mainwaring set a lifetime personal best in the one-mile race.
