According to bloggers, Google will be releasing an online presentation tool similar to its current online word processor and spreadsheet applications. The software, called Presently, will allow users to prepare, collaborate on, and export presentations through web browsers. Those who use Google's current office apps will find this new service useful when creating presentations. At the very least, it will offer a fallback in case of trouble. It would be nice if the software could import Keynote and Powerpoint presentations and then export each without format loss. The exact launch date is not yet known.

Hardcore Nintendo Wii owners may be interested in the rapidly growing Wii modchip market with the current not-yet-released chips called Wiinja and CycloWiz. A new upgradeable chip called Wiikey promises unusual features like multiregion game support. For the uninitiated, mod chips are circuit boards a user can attach to a console to give it additional features like the ability to play copied games. Sometimes modding a console will give it completely new functionality, like with the original XBOX, which could be turned into a living room media player.
