Wrestling Earns Fourth Win of the Season with Victory over Trinity

The Stevens Institute of Technology wrestling team picked up its fourth win of the season with a 32-12 victory over Trinity College on Wednesday night in Walker Gym in Hoboken, N.J. Freshman Leo Dormann (Mickleton, N.J.) and junior Brandon MacWhinnie (Barton, N.Y.) each earned wins by fall over the Bantams. With the win, Stevens improved to 4-9 overall on the season.
Freshman Kyle Brisson (Syracuse, N.Y.) and sophomore Pat Conrad (Enola, Pa.) earned the first wins of the night for Stevens by forfeit at 125 and 141 pounds, respectively. Dormann picked up his fourth win of the season by pin over Jarrett Matlock (Trotwood, N.H.) in 4:44. Junior Zak Lenz (Little Silver, N.J.) collected a win by forfeit at 157 pounds to increase the Ducks' lead to 24-3. MacWhinnie totaled his third win of the season by pin over Ralph Fedele (Verbank, N.Y.) in 4:27 to give Stevens a 29-3 edge. Senior Will Young (Willingboro, N.J.) earned his 11th win of the season over Nikolai Harovas (West Hartford, Conn.) at the heavyweight position by an 8-6 decision.
