After two years as a club sport, Men's Golf is starting this year, it's first year as a varsity sport, in stride. Led by Coach Joe Stahley, along with captains Scott Mozeleski and Jake Heffernan, this team has already shown promise by placing 2nd out of 5 in it's first match this past Monday.
While competing in the skyline conference, these ducks have already been invited to play at the empire 8 championship this weekend, showing that these athletes are already being taken seriously. With a stroke profile, that is the difference in number of strokes between the person who scored the best and the person who scored the worst on a team, roughly half the range of some other teams these athlete's have shown that there is no one star and that they can all play.
With the stated goals of this team being to be a contender for the skyline championship, these ducks are working towards steadily shooting a team score of 320. The team score is the sum of the scores from the top 4 of 5 players representing Stevens at that match.
