Why you should know him- Mike is the current SGA Vice-President and former Entertainment Committee chair. As such, he is often found at campus events enjoying them with other students. His other activities include being an active member of the Ambassadors club, a member of the O-Team, and is part of in the Cooperative Education program.
In his role of SGA Vice-President he hopes to increase the visibility of the SGA and help to make it a more approachable organization. When asked for some idea's of his as to how to spend the CIF he mentioned a few of the idea's he's kicking around including possible future improvements to Jacobus that would make it more enjoyable for students without investing money into the building.
Among the moments he enjoys as SGA Vice-President are the times when students are pleased with the progress made by the SGA. On the opposite end he said it is "hard to do what you think is right while keeping in line with what the students want". Goals outside the SGA include continuing work to increase programming available to students.
When asked about what Co-Op has taught him, he commented, "I feel what you learn out there [on the job] is just as important as what you learn in the classroom".
