Winter intercession courses still available

Courses in January intended to lighten spring semester load

With December comes the end of the Class of 2011's first semester and the opportunity to take a few courses during winter intercession. Registration for intercession courses is still available through the registrar's website but requires the approval of a Dean beforehand.

"How can we accept another to keep our secret if we have been unable to keep it ourselves." -Francois De La Rochefoucauld On November 14, the Stevens Tells Gallery opened its doors for another exhibit of secret cards. Located in the Lore-el Center, the Gallery is a campus tradition in which students are able to submit index cards that contain a secret about themselves.

Audited financial reports show improvements for fiscal year 2007

After months of anticipation the audited consolidated financial statements of Stevens for the fiscal year ending June 30 2007 are almost ready to be published. In a recent conversation The Stute was told they are expected to be made available within a week, but before hand an early look at what the report was allowed for the purposes of this article.

Stevens Advisory Board for Middle States speaks at Stevens

This Wednesday, the Stevens Advisory Board for Middle States re-accreditation, spoke before an audience consisting primarily of Stevens faculty to discuss concerns about the recently published Middle States in-house assessment. The forum was opened with a brief overview by Joseph Stahley, outlining the progress of the Advisory board thus far, saying that the report is intended to determine "How effective we are at achieving what we are about.
