On March 1st 2007, a Stevens' network upgrade over a year in the making took place. The Office of Information and Technology (IT) navigated the move from an older OC-3 circuit from Verizon to a new Switched Ethernet Service. This service is also provided by Verizon.
Jesse James, located at 503 Washington Street, is yet another great boutique that is located close to the Stevens campus. I was definitely excited to step in there this week and discover a new favorite store on Washington Street.
Since the weather was still chilly this weekend, we again opted for a restaurant close to campus. Margaritas, located at the corner of 8th Street and Washington, was an obvious choice. The front windows of the small restaurant welcomed guests with the warm glow of white Christmas lights.
